"A road less traveled...." A great definition for The Jay Peak area where dirt roads far out number paved roads, and mountains offer even more challenging terrain. If you really want to see what Vermont is about, bring a mountain bike and head for the peaks and valleys. Low gearing and wide tires on mountain bikes can make the hills and uneven surfaces on back roads easy to master. The rewards for this adventure are numerous: panoramic views from high meadows, or reaching a clear lake, pond or river just when you are ready for a cool break, or having a picnic in the shade of a sugar maple tree. Enjoy the clean, fresh air and beautiful scenery!
For on road bicycle touring, we have miles and miles of country roads, with almost no traffic, through some of the most scenic backdrops you could ever imagine... Over rolling hills, along emerald green pasture land, through more than a dozen covered bridges throughout the region.
